How a community hosting project was born from pure chaos and a desire to help friends.
It all started as a joke. Friends, tired of surprise hosting bills, kept asking: “Bro, can you make us some simple hosting?”
After the tenth request, on 03.09.2023, I registered guest.si out of pure friendly frustration.
The goal wasn't to build a business, but a stress-free corner of the internet for friends. A community "guest room" for websites.
The joke became real. On September 5th, 2023, to prove it wasn't a bluff, two production servers went live across two continents.

Suddenly, we had a real, multi-continent setup with zero surprise invoices.
As 2024 rolled in, requests grew beyond my inner circle. To manage the "madness," the servers were given dedicated roles.

It was no longer just for friends. A proper little community was forming.
By 2025, the project had grown quietly. To handle demand, the infrastructure expanded "overnight" without users noticing a thing.

The friendly joke had leveled up into a serious, multi-server community platform.
With over 50 domains under management, a fresh, scalable system was needed. On 10.11.2025, heyslovenia.com was born.
A brand-new, geographically distributed infrastructure was built from the ground up.
